G’bad NGO to work towards revival of water bodies and cleaner environment


Founded by noted Ghaziabad-based environmentalist & lawyer Akash Vashishtha, the Society for Protection of Environment and Biodiversity (SPENBIO) took a resolve to focus on revival of water bodies, waste management, organic farming, clean energy generation, air pollution and ground water quality and depletion, in Ghaziabad and other parts of the state in the current year. 

In this year’s first general meeting, it was decided that the Society will represent to government agencies on important policy matters related to environment. 

The NGO’s members were assigned specific tasks from submitting the proposals to follow-up with the officials. 

SPENBIO will strengthen its Green India Organic Farms initiative to allow easy access of fresh organic vegetables to people at nominal prices. The Society also decided to uplift its outreach programmes.
