Muradnagar mishap victim undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital Kaushambi


GHAZIABAD: A 45-yr-old person, Nirmal, who sustained grievous injuries during the tragic event of roof collapsing over several persons in Muradnagar cremation ground in Ghaziabad, claiming several lives is undergoing treatment at Yashoda Superspecialty Hospital Kaushambi. Nirmal was admitted to Muradnagar Community Hospital and then at MMG Hospital in Ghaziabad where he was given primary treatment and later on was shifted to Yashoda Hospital, Kaushambi, said a hospital spokesperson. He is being treated by a bone surgeon. Dr Anuj Agrawal, MS at Yashoda Kaushambi said that a team of senior surgeon Dr Akhil Kulshresth and Dr Sudhir Tyagi found that Nirmal had a pelvic fracture of the left side and bones below the knees of his right leg were also broken.  He is also suffering from blood loss and has a low hemoglobin count.

The patient has been kept in the ICU from January 6 onwards where he is being treated by a team of five doctors and his condition is stated to be serious, said the spokesperson.

According to Dr Agrawal, Nirmal cannot undergo an operation right now. He said that the team of doctors is monitoring his situation and as soon as he is fit enough he will be operated upon to fix the bone damage.
