Delhi: Uttam Nagar cops crack murder case within 3 days

On intervening night of 13/14-10-2020 a PCR call was received at police station Uttam Nagar from SI Sandeep Malik of Vikas Puri police station through phone that caller Suraj Khan is saying that some persons are firing from gun. Hence the same call was marked to SI Leela Ram for necessary action. On which SI Leela Ram reached to the place of incident, no eye witness found at the place of incident. However, on enquiry it was revealed that the injured has been shifted to unknown hospital and there was quarrel between two parties, that is Firoj and Rahul with Bijli, her husband Nathu, her son Rohit and her brother Naresh. 

In the meanwhile information was received from Mata Chanan Devi Hospital that injured Firoj Khan, r/o J J Colony Hastsal found admitted in Mata Chana Devi Hospital in I.C.U. Hence initially a case vide FIR No. 842/20 U/s 308/34 IPC was registered on DD Entry due to no availability of witness. Subsequently after the statement of eye witness Rahul, Section 308 IPC changed into 307 IPC.

During the course of investigation accused are being searched and information is being developed to trace the accused persons. During treatment injured got expired and section 302 IPC amended in the case. 

During investigation secret informer were deployed, spot investigation was conducted and clue of suspect was developed. Further efforts to collect the CCTVs footage were made. CDR’s of the alleged persons were analyzed. Two teams were constituted under the supervision of Anil Dureja ACP/Dabri.

SHO/ Uttam Nagar Inspector Ram Kishore, SI Leela Ram and Ct. Ajay & team and SI B K Bharti and HC Gopal for technical assistance. Both teams were deployed to nab the accused persons of the case. Due to smart policing, hard work and application of mind one of the accused Naresh Kumar, r/o J J Colony, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar, Delhi has been arrested and worked out murder case.

He was interrogated at length and he disclosed that he along with his sister, brother in law and niece, committed the offence in the present case. Hence one day police custody remand has been obtained.

Naresh Kumar r/o JJ Colony, Shiv Vihar, Uttam Nagar Delhi, age about 40 years. He studied up to 5th class. He is married. He is residing in his own premises.
