Delhi: Prominent doctors hold pep talk for Northern Range cops

Prominent doctors conducted briefing sessions for personnel of Northern Range of Delhi Police, in all the police stations, to educate about the safety precautions and to instill a sense of confidence among the police personnel. In the interactive sessions doctors briefed the police personnel on DOs and Don’ts and other precautionary measures to avoid the contagion. Police personnel of all rank showed keen interest and asked relevant questions.

Invariably, all the doctors in their respective sessions reiterated of the very good recovery ratio of Corona victims in India.  In total more than 875 police personnel were benefited through these sessions held at more than 29 locations (PS and other units). 

Among the more than 33 doctors who volunteered to interact and counsel the police personnel, few prominent names include Dr. Randhir from Muskan, Dr. Aditya Chawla from Jaipur Golden Hospital, Dr. Janki Nandan from Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital,  Dr. Nikhil from Bhagwati Hospital, Dr. Pushpender Singh and Dr. Subhash from Mahrisi Valmiki Hospital, Dr. Manoj and Dr. Saurabh from S.R.H.C. Hospital, Narela, Dr. Inderjyoti from Max Hospital, Dr. N.K. Handa from Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Dr. D S Chhatwal from  NKS Hospital, Dr. Bharat Sagar from BJRM etc. 

The briefings were also attended by DCPs, ACsP/Sub-division and SHOs of Northern Range at one or other location where they also briefed their men.  

Manish Kumar Agrawal, Joint CP/Northern Range expressed his gratitude towards all the doctors who volunteered encouraged the entire team of police personnel of Northern Range. He expressed hope that as the government move towards graded opening up of the Lockdown these sessions will ward-off various myths and fear attached to the pandemic and will motivate the police personnel to continue to do the good hard work in the service of mankind.   The doctors have also assured to provide consultation-cum-counseling over phone should any police personnel require so.

The sessions were also video recorded and are being played in PSs and other Units for benefit of other personnel.
