G’bad: GNN’s sanitisation efforts get a boost; gets solution free-of-cost

On efforts of Municipal Commissioner, Dinesh Chandra Singh, DCM Shriram at Rajasthan provides sodium hypochlorite yet again, charging only for the transportation

DCM Shriram Group, Kota, Rajasthan has yet again provided at least 18,500 litres of sodium hypochlorite solution to Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam (GNN) for sanitization purposes, on request by Municipal Commissioner, Dinesh Chandra Singh. This solution has been provided at just the transportation cost that means huge savings for the GNN. The firm has previously also sent two tankers of the solution at the same transportation costs. The Municipal Commissioner has thanked the company for providing the sanitizing solution free of cost.

The GNN has been incurring a huge expenditure on sanitization—also providing the solution to Ghaziabad Fire Dept. With corona hotspots increasing in the city this responsibility of the GNN has only increased over the past few days.

According to Municipal Commissioner Dinesh Chandra Singh, the GNN is daily engaged in intensive sanitization drive in several areas including several Vaishali housing societies, Vasundhara pockets, Pratap Vihar, Nand Gram, Indirapuram pockets, Kavi Nagar pockets among other areas. The GNN is also doing sanitization of bank ATMs, public places & govt offices in each of the 100 wards of the city taking the area councilors (Parshads) into confidence.

The GNN also informed that a special cleaning drive was underway in each ward. All these activities are being looked after by City Health Officer, Zonal Sanitary Officer and Sanitation Inspectors of the GNN.
