Integrated control room to fight COVID-19 inaugurated by CM at Lucknow


Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched an integrated disaster management control room for COVID-19 at Lucknow today and said that a control room is the backbone for rein in disasters and hence all district magistrates should designate a nodal officer and make the control rooms in their districts functional 24 X 7.

The CM said that these control rooms should reach out to the public to give them all information regarding COVID-19 isolation and quarantine health centres as well as  help in better management of supplying relief material to public including food packets. He also inaugurated a Geo-Spatial based Mobile Application and Geo-portal for Comunity Kitchen & Shelter Homes’

The CM said that that the integrated contro room will be linked with all district control rooms and hence will increase efficiency in fighting corona.

The integrated control room will soon be linked to other important dial services such as 112, 1076, 1090, 108 and 102. The toll free helpline no for the integrated control room is 1070.

So far 1,166 community kitchens and 2,266 shelter homes in various districts are being geo-tagged and being uploaded in the app.
