Ghaziabad: Municipal Commissioner directs sanitation inspectors to keep their areas clean or face action

Municipal Commissioner, Dinesh Chandra Singh today morning visited City & Vijay Nagar zones to take stock of sanitation work in areas falling under these zones.

To start with, it was found that the stretch between Meerut T-point and Vijay Nagar DPS Cut was littered; upon which the SFIs Ashok Kumar and Sunil Kumar were told over phone to get the area cleaned and to submit a report through the City Health Officer.

At Navyug Market a public toilet built near Abmedkar Park was found to be clean and functional but the park and its vicinity were not clean, upon which the area SFI was directed to get the area cleaned and to submit a report through the city Health Officer.

Dinesh Chandra Singh further instructed all SFIs to conduct sanitation exercises in their areas regularly and warned the against any laxity in work. A pipeline laying work near Ambedkar Park had caused the earth to be excavated however leveling work was not carried out. The MC instructed Yogendra Yadav, AE Water Works to issue a notice to the respective contractor and to seek explanation on why the road leveling was not done.

All toilets of the Ghaziabad Nagar Nigam main office were found to be sanitized and functional.
