Ghaziabad: Coaching owner, vendors, dairy owners and litter mongers fined heavily by GMC teams

All of them were found to be encroaching and defacing and causing pollution. The GMC also fined a bhandara organizer for littering


Several people were fined by Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation teams for littering the city. A groundnut vendor was fined Rs 5,000 for encroachment and litter by Mohan Nagar Zone Incharge, Shiv Kumar Gautam and his team.

A team of Vasundhara Zone along with City Health Officer, Dr Mithilesh Singh imposed a fine of a total Rs 13,200 on 4 people for littering. A dairy owner Noor Ilahi at Makanpur in Nyay Khand 3, Indirapuram was fined Rs 50,000 for running the dairy in a residential area and causing pollution. All other such dairy owners were asked to shift outside soon.

Coaching institutes defacing the walls were also fined. Balaji IAS Academy was fined Rs 20,000 for putting up illegal posters.

The owner of Amit Foundation at RDC Raj Nagar who had organized a bhandara and had litterd the area was issued a notice of Rs 50,000 fine. reporter
