G’bad Municipal Commissioner directs staff to give facelift to city parks

Municipal Commissioner, Dinesh Chandra Singh today passed instructions for giving a facelift to city parks looked after by Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation. Today Singh visited several such parks in City and Kavi Nagar zones.

In Raj Nagar while visiting parks at Sectors 5, 3 and 11 Singh directed XEN Deshraj Singh (Construction), XEN Anand Tripathi (Water Works) and Dinesh Chandra Sharma to see that all these parks are well maintained besides painting, whitewash and repair work of boundary wall should be done in these parks. They were also instructed to get them painted with Swachhata paintings and should ensure that the parks have fruit bearing tress and should be cleaned up regularly.

At Govindpuram a guest house called Arjun Guest House was found to be using plastic material. The owner had been warned earlier against using such material but he continued doing so, upon which he was issued notice of a Rs 41,000 fine.

At Ramte Ram road a Dharmashala management was fined Rs 50,000 for using plastic and thermocol in a marriage function held there. They were also asked to use steel utensils in future.

On receiving information about fire near Ford Workshop, an FIR was registered over the incident.
