Haryana to launch 50% subsidy scheme for decomposing paddy, to deter stubble burning

Taking a step towards pollution Control, the Haryana government is going to launch a 50 percent subsidy scheme for the farmers to decompose the paddy straw in the fields.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the State Government is actively working in the direction of motivating farmers to decompose the paddy straw and paddy crop in the fields using the disinfected medicine and for this, the government has planned to provide 50 percent subsidy to the farmers.

He said that this scheme will certainly help in controlling paddy straw and paddy crop burning in the fields. With this, decomposing paddy straw and paddy crop in the fields itself will also help the farmers to get compost for their fields, he added. 

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala was also present.
