Avas Vikas likely to sell unsold flats at reduced prices

In Ghaziabad alone more than 4,800 flats are lying unsold in various housing plans


Uttar Pradesh Avas Vikas or Housing Board is all set to decrease the prices of its flats that remain unsold in some of its flagship projects including those in Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Meerut, Agra to name a few.

In Ghaziabad alone the unsold number of flats is a whopping 4,807 while a mammoth number of 10,000 flats are lying usold. These are located at Mandola Vihar along Delhi-Saharanpur Road, Vasundhara and Siddhartha Vihar.

The Parishad will be reducing rates ranging from 10-30% in total. A proposal to this effect is awaiting clearance from the state. According to te Parishad, the unsold inventory is proving to be a liability as it requires constant maintenance so its is better to sell these at a reduced price.
