Gurugram: Bird sanctuary at Sultanpur opens for public

Sultanpur National Park & Bird Sanctuary has been thrown open for public from today ahead of the usual date of Oct 1 every year. According to senior officials of the park, Subhash Yadav it would remain open for much longer time every year so that bird lovers can come here. This decision he said, has been taken by the Forest Minister, Rao Narbir Singh. Thus the park will be closed for the public only for 3 months than the earlier 6 months.

It was also informed that 2 bird hides will be built from where the tourists will be able to see the birds but the birds would be unable to see them. The park will only be closed on Tuesdays.
