Upasana Arora of Yashoda Hospital, G’bad becomes Member, Governing Council of Healthcare of SEPC

In the latest results of the election of the post of Member, Governing Council of Healthcare of SEPC, to represent the Medical Field, Hospital of the Service Export Promotion Council, established by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, for the year 2019 – 2021, Upasana Arora, Director of Yashoda Super Specialty Hospital Kaushambi was declared won. The election was held on 5 September, 2019. In this election Upasana Arora, Director of Yashoda Hospital Kaushambi, defeated Sunita Reddy, Managing Director of Apollo Hospital, said a press statement of Yashoda Hospital.

While giving the information of the election results through a circular on the SEPC website, the Director-General of SEPC, Sunita Godbole, IRS said that the Health Council of SEPC has 162 members in which major hospitals in India, Medical institutes, doctors, medical tourism and pharma professionals are there.

Upasana Arora heartily thanked all the members of SEPC and reiterated her commitment that she will work on all subjects to make India a leader in the field of health and medicine on the world stage. Arora said that India is gaining fame through the quality services offered by Indian doctors in different countries of the world and also in India Experienced, trained and skilled doctors are available and through medical tourism, patients from many countries of the world are coming to India for treatment, so their main goal will be to provide quality healthcare services of doctors and hospitals of India globally.

Upasana Arora told that SEPC is an Export Promotion Council set by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It is the apex trade body that facilitates service exporters of India. As an advisory body, it actively contributes to the formulation of the policies of the Government of India and acts as an interface between the service industry and the government.
