Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) hosted its 153rd Board Meet today that was presided over by GDA Chairman & Divisional Commissioner, Anita C Meshram. GDA VC Kanchan Verma, GDA Secretary, Santosh Kumar Rai, DM Ritu Maheshwari, Municipal Commissioner Dinesh Chandra Singh, Regional Manager, UPSIDC, Smita Singh, other GDA officials, councilor Himanshu Mittal and others were present at the Board meet.
At least 37 proposals were discussed out of which 26 were given the go ahead while 4 were annulled, 5 were sent to the state government. Some of the main proposal include a revised layout plan for development of integrated township to be developed by Ansal Properties & Infrastructure opposite Crossings Republik while the revised layout plan for Wave Hi-Tech City City that was languishing and was being developed by the Uppal Chaddha group did not make the cut. The layout plan of Land Craft Developers on NH 24 was also approved.
In addition, Raj Nagar District Centre (RDC) shall be a traffic free zone and a multi-level parking lot will be developed. Nehru Nagar Cricket Stadium will be leased to a private company but the GDA will decide upon the entry fee and will further have a committee in place to supervise its activities. Map approvals will be done online.
The Board also approved the new building plan of GDA office at Madhuban Bapudham. Proposal was also cleared for denotification of land at Kanwani for Indirapuram Extension while proposal for CLU for a land measuring 9,000 sq mt at Kallugarhi, Dasna has been sent to the state for consideration.
The GDA Board has also given the go ahead to prepare a layout plan of a huge chunk of land on GT Road that had been given on lease to a private party and that is classified as industrial.
