An FIR has been registered today against Seth Anandram School Jaipuria at Indirapuram Police Station, Vasundhara after parents alleged that their children who are students of the school were held hostage by the school yesterday (April 4) for not clearing the fee dues. The parents also alleged that school principal Manju Rana  threatened them with dire consequences for raising their voice.

SHO of Indirapuram Police Station Sandeep Kumar Singh confirmed that an FIR has been registered against the school. He said further action will be taken after a thorough investigation into the matter is done. He also said that parents had alleged that school staff had used abusive language against the parents and the matter is being investigated.

Parents had been protesting against the school fee hike under the banner of Ghaziabad Parents Association. In the past a fine was also slapped on the school by the District Fee Regulation Committee, Ghaziabad. Several Jaipuria children and parents today sat on a dharna in the premises of Indirapuram Police Station after which an FIR was finally registered against the school.
