On March 10, late in the night, a team of Indirapuram Police Station led by SHO Sandeep Kumar Singh arrested 2 accused from near EDM Mall who were involved in running a fake consultancy centre—a racket that promised jobs in foreign land to youngsters.

The accused are namely Manoj Kumar Nayak alias Bimlesh Gupta and Jasveer Singh.

Both the accused were running a firm called Elite Core Solution from Kaushambi area. They charged anywhere between Rs 70,000 and Rs 1 lakh from unemployed youth on the pretext of getting them jobs abroad by preparing fake documents. The accused were earlier running a similar racket at Bhikhaji Cama Place in South Delhi where they had opened an office by the name of Eagle Impex, but they shut shop and moved to Kaushambi, Ghaziabad after a case of fraud was registered against them in Delhi. Presently, they were in the process of opening their next office in East Patel Nagar, Delhi by the name of Ambey Group Manpower, after closing down the Kaushambi office.

The duo would take victims into confidence them by getting their medical tests done and other pretentions as these happen in a bonafide agency. Afterwards they would decamp with the money and passports of these victims that they had deposited.

The police have seized 27 passports, documents, one seal, one Corolla car, 2 PAN cards among other items.
