Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar yesterday laid foundation as well as inaugurated 22 projects worth Rs 423.07 cr through video conferencing from Chandigarh. In these projects 6 projects worth Rs 49.22 cr were inaugurated while foundation of 16 projects worth Rs 373.85 cr were laid.
Khattar said that implementation of 1,200 CCTV based public safety and traffic management system by GMDA would go a long mile in controlling crime and illegal activities in Gurugram. He also said that women safety would be the prime focus of the project called the Gurugram-Manesar Urban complex development Plan- 2031. Under the project about 358 intersections, crime sensitive areas, underpass and entry & exit points would be connected through the optical fibre cable. This will be a part of the smart City initiative.
State minister Rao Narbir Singh thanked the CM for these projects.
