UP Housing & Development Board or Avas Vikas is soon going to start e-auction of its unsold but prime properties all over Uttar Pradesh, it was revealed by Joint Housing Commissioner (JHC), Meerut Zone, Mahendra Prasad. The interested buyers will go through the e-auction process by firstly paying a token amount online and then proceed to bid for the property. If the buyer is unable to buy the property in e-auction the token money paid will be refunded back to his account.
According to the JHC the e-auction process will bring in more transparency in property transactions as the manual process will be totally bypassed. He said efforts are on to start the process in January itself. He also said that IndusInd Bank will partner with Avas Vikas to implement the e-auction.
The Joint Housing Commissioner also spoke about the upcoming project of Avas Vikas at Siddhartha Vihar along NH-24 and in close proximity to Indirapuram. He said that the upcoming project here is one of the best in NCR as it is strategically located along the Delhi-Meerut Expressway that forms part of NH-24 up to Hapur. He also said that a recent order of the NGT monitoring committee to remove the dumping ground at Pratap Vihar will also give a fillip to the Avas Vikas project here and Siddhartha Vihar will come up as a hot destination.
Notably, the widening of NH-24 will give a tremendous boost to properties along this stretch. Also Metro will soon spread its wings from Sec 62 Noida to Indirapuram that will be another boosting factor for realty.
