Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal will inaugurate mega police housing complex at New Police Lines, Faridabad on December 30, 2018. While stating this here today, Director General of Police (DGP), Haryana, B.S. Sandhu said that construction of these houses have been carried out by Haryana Police Housing Corporation at a cost of around Rs 65 crore. Spread over an area of 12.75 acres, the housing complex has a total of 384 houses.
Sandhu said that the project is a landmark for Haryana Police as it would enhance housing satisfaction level for the police personnel. Out of 384 houses, 336 quarters have been constructed only for constables and head-constables and 48 for NGOs.
Sandhu said that Haryana Police Housing Corporation is working to enhance living and working facilities of its jawans and officers. During past four years, a huge building infrastructure has been raised in all the districts of the State and many construction works are under execution. Inauguration of such a mega housing project would certainly help in improving their quality of life that would reflect in their performance, he added.
The housing project includes several facilities such as a green lawns, sewage treatment plant, open air gym, children swings, treated water of STP for gardening and road and parking.
