Victims of Sikh massacre of 1984 heaved a sigh of relief after conviction of one Yashpal who was awarded the death penalty while another accused Naresh Sehrawat was sentenced to a lifetime in prison.  The victims’ families were demanding death sentence for both. They further said that getting justice after 34 years was a sweet feeling and they would feel even better if the cases against main conspirators including Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar are disposed of in similar manner. The Patiala House Court judge passed the judgment at Tihar Jail in the wake of threat to law & order.
