Sant Kabir Nagar Police has created a record by continuously been on top of rankings for the 7th time in a row in redressal of grievances through Integrated Grievance Redressal System or IGRS portal. This information was shared by SP Akash Tomar who has set a new culture of online receipt of complaints as well as their redressal. Tomar, the erstwhile SP City of Ghaziabad is also well grounded in information technology and has used social media tools extensively for crime control measures in Ghaziabad too while serving as the SP, also involving the citizens.
As SP of Sant Kabir Nagar, he has instructed the fellow policemen to address public grievances with utmost sincerity and with the right attitude that is often found missing at the Chowki and Thana level.
The IGRS portal takes complaints of residents through the online mechanism and the complaints have to be redressed within a given time-frame. The police department takes up the probe on the basis of complaints received and finally these have to be redressed to the satisfaction of the complainants.
This year in the months April, May, June, July, August, September and October rankings the district has earned the first spot 7th time straight.
