Director General of Police of UP, OP Singh today formally flagged off a fleet of PRV UP Dial 100 two-wheeler vehicles for Ghaziabad and Noida. On the occasion Singh said that roping in two-wheeler flet will further reduce the response time to attend to an emergency call to serve the citizens on a more real-time basis.

DGP Singh pointed out that the two wheeler PRV will easily reach congested lanes and streets where immediately a four-wheel PRC cannot reach. He said that the objective is that the PRV should reach the caller or scene of crime in 10 minutes. The DGP also said that focus is on to change the attitude of police staff towards the public and certified training of PRV staff. He also lauded Ghaziabad Police for starting FIR registration through Dial 100.

Senior police officials of Meerut Zone, Range and SSPs of Ghaziabad and Noida were present on the occasion.
