Heavy rains lashed Delhi-NCR with practically every city including Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad soaked in rains today. As the rains brought the much needed respite from the hot & humid weather it took the denizens by surprise and traffic snarls have started in many areas in Delhi-NCR. Many areas of the national capital have half submerged in rains, it is reported. Three DTC cluster buses are reportedly submerged near Minto Road bridge. Waterlogging is being reported from Tilak Bridge area, ITO, Pragati Maidan and Old Delhi areas as well as Rajouri Garden. Snags were also reported in Magenta line of Metro for some time. As the evening approaches the roads are expected to be waterlogged and traffic snarls will be commonplace.
