Two robbers who were involved in theft of valuables from homes and also stole mobile sets were apprehended by a team of cops from Khoda Police Station from near CNG pump near Ghazipur Delhi, in a drive conducted under Operation Knock-Out. A total of Rs 8,500 pertaining to a case out of which Rs 6,000 and one Jivi brand phone were seized from one accused while from the other Rs 2,000 of one case and Rs 500 of one another case were recovered along with a stolen mobile.

The accused are Gulshan from Khoda and Vimal Gupta alias Jutta, a native of Hathras.

The duo had on the night of June 21/22 stolen valuables including jewellery from a house at Tiwari Chowk in Mohalla Indra Garden, Khoda where the accused had parked an auto outside and secretly entered the house of the victim. They also stole 2 mobiles one of Jivi and one of Intex. The Intex mobile was thorn away by the accused while they kept the Jivi one with them.

The accused said that Rs 6,000 were left from the amount they had obtained after selling off stolen jewellery. The accused Gulshan said that Rs 2,000 were left from the stolen amount of Rs 21,000 a month back from Dharm Vihar Mohalla.

Gulshan has 3 cases against his name while Vimal Gupta is a repeat offender and has at least 12 criminal cases against him at various police stations in Delhi and Khoda in Ghaziabad.
