A team of West Bengal Police from Howrah in close coordination with Ghaziabad Police today raided and arrested 7 persons from Nand Gram area, accused of human trafficking and rescued 2 girls from their clutches, it was informed by SP City, Akash Tomar. The accused comprised 4 females and 3 males. They had sold off these girls in Ghaziabad. While one girl is from Orissa the other is said to be from West Bengal.

A local court granted transit remand to the police team from Howrah after which 2 separate teams took the accused as well as the girls with them to West Bengal, where the girls will be reunited with their families, SP City said.
