To hone the skills of budding swimmers the Haryana Government has taken the decision to establish a world-class swimming pool with all modern amenities where the swimming aspirants can participate in state as well as national level championships. For this, the government has decided to set up a swimming sports complex at a cost of Ra 9 crore and which will be constructed in an area of 3 acre.
The 1,200 capacity stadium will have a 50 metre swimming pool and 25 metre heated water pool, together to form an all-weather swimming pool. After the complex is built national-level swimming championships are envisaged at this complex, it was learnt.
The Gurugram DC has been asked to search for proper land for the development of this complex.
