Ghaziabad Police have cracked the case of armed loot at a software engineer Vishwa Munjal’s house on June 30 in Kavi Nagar area in which the armed assailants had decamped with valuables such as one laptop, one looted i Phone and cash. This was revealed today by SSP Ghaziabad, Vaibhav Krishna and SP City, Akash Tomar.
However today the Kavi Nagar police today succeeded in arresting 2 bike borne accused Deepak Chouhan and Indrajeet Saini from Kendriya Vihar T-point and on whose instance the other 2 accused Krishna and Rahul were also held. The 4 of them are inter-state criminals.
The accused revealed that on Rahul’s directions the other 3 had carried out the dacoity at the software engineer’s house in which his hands and mouth were tied with a cello tape. While Deepak and Rahul were keeping a vigil outside the house the other 2 carried out the loot.
Indrajeet has been previously sentenced to 10 yrs in jail at Jalandhar, Punjab under NDPS Act. He has come out on parole for 15 days but he jumped parole and since then shifted to Haridwar with Rahul.
Accused Deepak, 25, is presently a resident of Barola in Noida and a BA. He is a courier boy of DTDC company in Noida and has 3 criminal cases against him at Kavi Nagar PS; accused Indrajeet Saini, 37, is a 9th drop-out, is not employed, a native of Punjab and presently living in Haridwar. Indrajeet is a hardened criminal with at least 18 cases against him at Punjab and Ghaziabad police stations. Accused Rahul, 32, is a 10th fail, a truck/ taxi driver, a native of Meerut but presently living at Haridwar and has 6 criminal cases registered at Kavi Nagar and Muzzfarnagar police stations. The 4th accused Krishna Kumar, 21, is a native of Panipat, Haryana and presently living in Haridwar. He worked as a truck/taxi driver.
The police recovered 2 country-made pistols, one Apple i Phone, one laptop and Rs 500 cash.
