Parents under the banner of Jaipuria Parents Association (of wards studying at Jaipuria School in Vasundhara) met and staged a protest against fee hike in which more than 50 parents participated, according to a press statement. It was discussed that even after the UP Govt’s ordinance on fee hike the school was charging high fees. The parents in one voice said that they would not pay the increased fee of the first and second quarter, unless the school follows the government’s fee ordinance.

The press statement said that the school was bent on charging fees that is Rs 25,000 more than the calculation of association. The parents’ body also demanded that the school adjusts the extra fee taken for the years 2016-17 and 2017-18 as well. The parents added that they were prepared to pay the fee that is reasonable.
