With the arrest of Pushpender (age 52 years) and Shivender (age 49 years) residents of Karala, Delhi and permanent residents of Sonepat, Haryana both advocates by profession, the Outer District Police has apprehended two real brothers for firing, threatening and possessing illegal arms in Village Karala.

On June 7, at around 9:32 pm, a PCR call was received at Police Station Kanjhawala regarding firing in Village Karala, Delhi. During enquiry, one lady was found injured at the spot. The injured lady was moved to SGM Hospital, Mangol Puri. The public gathered at the spot and also narrated the incident of firing.

A search of the premise was conducted and five licensed weapons along with 25 live cartridges each were recovered. During further search, the team recovered five country made weapon with 13 live cartridges and 102 empty cartridges from their possession. Two cases were registered under Arms Act and other sections. The investigation was  taken up by SI Om Prakash  and ASI Sudesh respectively.

During the course of investigation, accused Pushpender and Shivender were arrested and large cache of firearms were recovered from their possession. On the basis of PCR Call, the team not only arrested the accused persons, but also recovered a remarkable amount of fire arms, that is 5 country-made weapons, 13 live cartridges, 102 empty cartridges and five licensee weapons along with 25 cartridge each.
