DM Ritu Maheshwari has said that from now on Samadhan Diwas will be organized in place of Thana Diwas as the state has found that only the victim side record their statement at police stations, but that does not lead to solution of a given problem. Hence it was decided that both the sides will from now on come to the respective police stations to get redressal for the problem at hand.
The Samadhan Diwas will be organized every first and third Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. Gazetted officers of the district will be present at various police stations of the district to hear the grievances.
In Ghaziabad, the Samadhan Diwas will be held as under:
City Magistrate, G’bad at Kotwali PS from 10am-2pm; Nayab Tehsildar Neeraj Dwivedi at Sihani Gate PS from 10am-12pm and from 12pm-2pm at Mahila Thana; Nayab Tehsildar Modinagar, Abhishek Shahi at Muradnagar PS from 10am-2pm; SDM Loni at Loni PS from 10am-2 pm; Dy.
