Veteran healthcare professional, Gaurav Pande organized the camp and coordinated with all stakeholders.
The village folk were checked for blood sugar, ECG, etc and were also provided with free food and medicines as well as free spectacles.
The camp was inaugurated by Amit Sirohi, judicial official of Ranikhet. School kids gave a performance of Kumauni songs and dance on the occasion. Police station Incharge Mr Joshi was also present at the camp. Local dignitaries supported the camp in every possible manner. These included Jaibeer Singh and Rohit Brijwasi. Even 85-yr-old veterans came for check-up at the camp that saw local making a beeline. Many patients were diagnosed for osteoarthritis—a common occurence in these parts. Such camps are a great necessity for the remote hill villages and small towns that have a scarcity of medical facilities and doctors.
