Uttar Pradesh Minister Brajesh Pathak has said that the government is going to recruit 10,000 Surya Mitras so as to implement the alternative power mission effectively. Hence, these recruitments will provide skilled manpower to the solar power industry. These Surya Mitras are supposed to provide maintenance solutions to the solar companies.
Pathak was inaugurating the All India Solar Summit 2018 at Lucknow. He said that the state government has set a target of generating 10,700 MW of electricity by 2022, out of which 4,300 MW is slated to be generated through the use of solar roof-top panels.
The 3-day exhibition (from Feb. 23-25) will focus on the areas of PV production technologies, energy storage systems & technologies, concentrating solar thermal technologies, direct solar lighting and other latest developments in solar field. All India Solar Summit-2018 (AISS-2018) will be the most important industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the solar industry. It is the ultimate business destination to meet and interact with hundreds of top Solar & LED industry stakeholders.
