Founder of HCL company and chief of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, Shiv Nadar explored investment opportunities in the state. On this occasion, the Chief Minister extended an invite to Nadar for the ‘Investors Summit’ to be held in the state capital on February 21-22, 2018.
He also gifted the logo of the Prayag Kumbh-2019 to the visiting dignitary. During the meeting, Nadar apprised the Chief Minister of the activities of HCL since its inception to the present time and also briefed him
in detail about the IT City project in Lucknow.
Nadar also apprised CM Yogi about the ‘Vidya Gyan’ programme undertaken by the Shiv Nadar Foundation in Sitapur and Bulandshahr districts,wherein meritorious students of poor families are being educated in residential schools. In these schools free education is being imparted. Other than this, HCL is also benefiting needy families through various development programmes in selected development blocks of Kothawan, Kachhauna and Bihandar in Hardoi district. With this, under a scheme ‘Samuday’ ideal villages are being developed under healthcare, education, cleanliness, potable water, agriculture education, employment and infrastructure facilities, Nadar said.
