Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Dubai said at the World Government Summit that the relationship between India and Dubai goes beyond buyer-seller relationship. Addressing Indians living there he said that this relationship was broad and deep. He said that UAE is home away from home for lakhs of Indians. Modi also spoke about the virtual or the cyber world saying that it should not become a tool for radicalization. He said technology is changing very fast and described that in e-governance, e stands for efficiency, effective, empower, easy and equity.
Modi said that technology should be a tool of development and not destruction. The gathering at the summit comprised Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and the ruler of Dubai.
The summit is being attended by 4,000 members from 140 countries.
