A mobile application called e-Shiksha Ghaziabad was launched today in Meerut by Rajiv Kumar, Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh. Meerut Divisional Commissioner, Prabhat Kumar and DM Ghaziabad, Ritu Maheshwari were present on the occasion, said a press statement. The application has been designed keeping in view to monitor government run schools in Ghaziabad with regard to teachers and students’ attendance, applying for leave, as well as to access various services.
The app. can also be used to redress complaints of teachers and to monitor all schools as well as to address the need for better coordination related to all activities in these schools, informed the DM. Besides, it will also provide information on district level inter and intra-level meetings regarding these schools to the users.
So that the application can be run smoothly a control room has been set up in the office of basic education officer (BSA) in Ghaziabad, informed CDO Prem Ranjan Singh.
