A gang that used to commit armed robbery in Delhi-NCR while riding high speed bikes and making good their escape in Delhi was busted by Ghaziabad Police in connection with loot of Rs 2.5 lakh from a cloth merchant from near Mangal Bazar Chowk in Indirapuram, it was informed by SP City, Akash Tomar. The cops arrested one accused Mohammad Riyaz while search is on for more members of the gang. also recovered looted Rs 82,000 along with a pistol and one Apache bike used in the crime. The cops claimed to have worked out this case within 48 hrs of the accused committing the crime.
The staff of Indirapuram Police Station comprising Thana Incharge, Sushil Kumar Dubey, SI Bhupendra Singh and others were doing routine checking near Vaishali Pulia of Sector 5-6, when they apprehended one seasoned criminal Mohammad Riyaz, presently a resident of Ghazipur in Delhi.
