According to press statement of Dr. Jasbir Parmar, President, HCMS association & Secretary, AIFGDA, doctors across the country have a great sense of resentment towards the act of oppression of Rajasthan Government against the in-service doctors who have been protesting peacefully for a long time in a democratic manner.
Last month doctors had withdrawn their agitation after a meeting with Rajasthan Government in which government had accepted their all demands which were to be implemented in a time bound period. But unfortunately in place of implementing the demands Rajasthan government has started harassing the doctors and putting them in jail. This attitude and action of Rajasthan government is against the spirit of compromise. Rajasthan govt. has breach the trust of doctors.
All India Federation of Government Doctors Associations (AIFGDA) strongly condemn these atrocities on doctors. We urge the Rajasthan govt. to implement the all accepted genuine issues of doctors amicably and we also request the Centre government to intervene and get this issue resolved urgently. In case government continuous the act of repression further, AIFGDA will be forced to start a pan India movement.
AIFGDA has decided to wear black badges on December 21 throughout the country by all in-service doctors of all states against the insensitive and autocratic attitude of Rajasthan government towards in-service doctors. HCMS association has decided to wear black badges on December 21 throughout the state of Haryana as a mark of protest in support of in-service doctors of Rajasthan on appeal of AIFGDA.
