An Assistant Sub Inspector was martyred even as 4 security personnel were injured and 3 terrorists killed in a suspected fidayeen attack on a BSF camp near Srinagar International Airport in Kashmir today early in the morning. Jaish-e-Mohammad has claimed the responsibility for the attacks. The militants cut the fence of the camp to gain entry inside. The airport was closed for a few hours but the schools in the vicinity would remain closed for now. The security forces are looking for more militants in the area.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh had congratulated the forces for the ‘good operation’.
